This talk traces that journey from the pre-WordPress 7.0 world—before the Abilities API—to today’s increasingly agent-ready WordPress. We’ll look at how blocks, structured content, the Abilities API, and MCP fit together to give agents a useful, bounded way to work with a WordPress site.
