Back-end software developer with more than 5 years of experience working with web and other technologies, currently working at company Folkmatic in Belgrade. Developing in daily basis hard-to-find functionalities in WordPress platform, Symfony framework, JavaScript and other technologies. Started #WPNis meetup with friends in Nis/Serbia, Silicon Drinkabout Nis, and maybe someday he will take it slower. The only fear he has is that in future generations will ask who is „The Prodigy“ music group.

Brecht Ryckaert

Brecht was born in ’84 and is WordPress enthusiast, IT-engineer, speaker and author. He loves a whisky from time to time. He’s lucky to have an amazing girlfriend and a wonderful daughter. He published his first book in 2014 on WordPress Security and he’s currently working on a second WordPress book.

Luca Sartoni is a media professional with more than a decade of technical and marketing expertise. Thanks to his extensive experience in business environments ranging from SMEs to large corporate projects, Luca helps companies scale up by implementing data-driven strategies. He does not believe in Santa Claus, magic spells and everything not backed by facts. Luca is Protector of Asyncronicity at Automattic.

Marina Vassilyovska

Marina Vassilyovska is a full-stack marketer with almost 10 years of digital experience. After moving around within the digital marketing field and covering different roles that included SEO, SMM, affiliate and content marketing, she’s currently a part of the creative agency Smarkethink. She’s a huge fan of WordPress and firmly believes that it’s the best project in the history of internet.
Marina is also a keen environmentalist and can be often spotted volunteering in relevant events and projects or bugging her coworkers about the plastic bottles.

Mauricio Gelves

Mauricio Gelves is a Software Engineer graduated in the Palermo University (Buenos Aires, Argentina). With more than 11 years developing all kind of digital projects and in the last 6 years he is fully involved in the WordPress Community. He is one of the organisers of the WordPress Madrid Meetup and WordCamp Madrid.

Nikola Nikolov

Nikola Nikolov is the lead developer and owner of Paiyak Development. He has been working with WordPress for 7 years and is passionate about the WordPress community and developing in general. Mentoring — informally in the office and formally with clients — has been a big part of developing his own skills and knowledge base.

When not coding, Nikola devotes his time to his two children and wife (Taking them along to most WordCamps) and hopes one day to have enough time to pursue paragliding.

Noel Tock

Noel is a Swiss Digital Nomad that enjoys building solutions online. He’s a partner at Human Made, a top tier WordPress agency (and VIP Partner). There he oversees the growing product portfolio (Nomadbase, Happytables, WP Remote, etc.).

Noel is a jack of all trades, master of none, usually bouncing between product management, UI design and front-end development. The projects he enjoys working on most, target small businesses and the long tail, democratizing opportunity so that smaller players have a shot at being successful online.

Preslav Mihaylov

Preslav’s passion is creating software and teaching young people the art of software engineering. He is a software engineer specializing in Embedded development and C Programming working in the robotics industry.

Preslav is a technical trainer, focusing at giving people the fundamental steps required for a successful software engineering career. More than a thousand people have attended his courses and he continues to share his knowledge and experience constantly.

Милен Петрински – Гонзо

Гонзо прави първия си сайт преди 20 години, а първата WordPress инсталация – преди 10. През всичкото това време като уеб разработчик се е старал да създава удобни и бързи сайтове, достъпни за всички.

„Независимо дали проектът е за малък персонален сайт или голям онлайн търговец, спазването на добри практики като прогресивното подобрение и придържането към съвременните стандарти позволява крайният продукт да служи добре на потребителите, а от там и на своя собственик“, казва Гонзо.

Гонзо е един от WordPress ентусиастите в България, който е бил на всички издания на WordCamp Sofia до момента.

Working with clients on managing their internet and Social Media presence, providing services of creating and implementing Digital Strategy, Content Marketing, copywriting and Social Media consulting. An active member of local WordPress community and a part of the organizing team of WordCamp Europe 2018.

Emir Kurtovic

Experienced software developer now exploring ways of rapid/agile/lean development, UI/UX graphic design, online marketing, SEO, ROI and basic accounting, and putting it all together. Toptal software architect since 2014.

Aleksandar Savkovic

Aleksandar reconsidered his profession pretty late at life and from the construction site supervisor at the age of 35 he became a web ” WordPress” developer.
He believes that he’ll stick with this profession since he’s now in love with WordPress for life.

Aleksandar works for GoDaddy in their Belgrade office and is also a prominent contributor to the WordPress community, helping to organise meetups in Belgrade, WordCamp Belgrade, WordCamp Europe and helping the WordPress community team as community deputy.

Mitko Kochkovski

Mitko started working with WordPress in 2010. He is a Codeable expert and founder of WooDoo.agency. He loves creating unusual websites, especially with WooCommerce.

Emanuel Blagonic

Emanuel has more than 13 years of experience and more than 500 different projects with worldwide clients on his back. From designing websites to designing touch–screen applications, he worked with small and big clients, startups and global projects. Although primarily a designer, he’s been in love with WordPress for the past 10 years, being one of the biggest promoters in Croatia – writing articles about WordPress that are not only promoting WordPress but open source as well. He helped organize the first WordCamp Croatia and organizes WordPress Meetup Zagreb with his brother Lucijan.

As one of the pioneers of the web standards movement in Croatia he is active in community where he works on building a better understanding for design process and educates clients as much as possible. Can be found on Twitter as @eblagonic.

 

Petya Raykovska

Petya is a Senior Project Manager at Human Made where she helps large projects across big publishers and enterprise succeed. She is a huge WordPress enthusiast, active member of the WordPress community and is one of the WordPress Polyglots team leads supporting the people who translate WordPress to more than 160 languages. Petya helped organise WordCamp Europe 2014 and WordCamp Europe 2015 and lead the team that organised WordCamp Europe 2016 in Vienna.
