  • Clients Without Burnout: How I Build Better Boundaries While Running an Agency 🇬🇧

Working with clients is an essential part of running an agency or building a freelance career, but it can also become one of the main sources of stress and burnout.

Unclear expectations, endless revisions, messages outside working hours, scope creep and the pressure to always be available can gradually turn a business you once enjoyed into something emotionally exhausting.

In this session, I will share practical lessons from my experience running a web development agency and managing client relationships. I will explain how I set clear expectations from the beginning, establish healthy communication boundaries, handle difficult conversations, prevent scope creep and create processes that protect both the client experience and my own time.

My goal is not to encourage freelancers or agency owners to become distant or inflexible. Instead, I want to show how healthier and more professional relationships can be built, where clients feel supported without the person delivering the work constantly feeling overwhelmed.

Attendees will leave with practical ideas they can apply immediately to their proposals, onboarding process, communication and daily client management.

  • Can We Measure WordPress Plugin Quality? 🇬🇧

Can WordPress plugin quality really be measured, or do automated scores mostly measure what is easy to count?

At CloudFest Hackathon, the team I co lead built WP Plugin Insights, a platform that analysed plugins for compatibility, security, maintainability and other quality signals. The prototype showed how much can be automated, but also how quickly apparently objective checks can produce misleading conclusions.

For this talk, I am rebuilding the platform around a simpler principle: analysis tools should report evidence, while separate policies decide how that evidence is interpreted.

I will demonstrate the platform, share what we learned from building it twice, and explore the limits of automated quality analysis. Can a small utility plugin, a WooCommerce extension and a page builder really be judged using the same criteria?

Attendees will leave with practical ideas for evaluating plugins, designing analysis systems and questioning quality scores that appear more objective than they really are.

  • AI in WordPress 7: From Core to Agent 🇧🇬
